Summary analysis of Energy Performance Certificates’ alignment with national Long-Term Renovation Strategies
This report’s aim is to better understand the relevance and link of Long-Term Renovation Strategies (LTRS) to recommendations being provided in Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) as well as Building Renovation Passports (BRPs). The main issues that are presented in this report are:
- Description of the status of LTRSs in the iBRoad2EPC pilot countries and a further overview of LTRSs in other countries
- Documents and discusses the status of recommendations in EPCs and the role of EPCs and BRPs in a LTRS
- A possible concept of how to use building stock models to ensure the consistency of recommendations in EPCs and BRPs with long-term targets; this includes a summary to feed further development steps in the iBRoad2EPC project.
The report was finalised in September 2022.
